Sculpture in honor of Matthias Sandeck, a friend who died during a spearfishing championship in Denmark. His untimely departure deeply shook friends and family. There was a need to externalise this loss through a physical symbol that will endure through time, a stone sculpture, located next to his loved ones, in Prainha (Praia da Luz), in the municipality of Lagos. This sculpture represents the descent to the bottom of the sea, a dance between life and death. The two elements at the top of the sculpture represent the fins in a frozen and eternalised movement. Where existence and ceasing to exist meet, coexisting here and being part of the same universe.
