The workshop is intended for all those who are interested in working and exploring stone sculpture, with or without experience in the area. The space of LAC - Laboratório de Actividades Criativas offers the necessary conditions to work this unique subject.

The objective of this workshop is the creation of a stone plate, which will remain for the participant. The basic techniques of stone sculpture will be addressed with the use of the grinder and its safe handling. The participant will choose the stone to use (limestone or marble), its shape (round or oval) and its finish (polished or textured). The whole process will be guided by the artist RoMP. With this workshop the participant will have a greater understanding of their artistic ability and the process of carving the stone.
